76 proposed activities are discussed in the pre-development planning forum (Musrenbang) of Kramat Jati Urban Village, East Jakarta, Tuesday (1/23) night.

All proposals will be corrected to avoid overlapping or multiple budgets

When he opened pre-musrenbang, East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana said urban villages, related units and RW caretakers must re-correct all the proposals. It is ensured that only priority scale activities are based on needs that must be displayed.

"Pre-musrenbang is a series of activities in early 2018. The discussion begins from the level of RW, urban village, sub-district, and city up to province. All proposals will be corrected to avoid overlapping or multiple budgets," he stated.

According to him, the pre-musrenbang discussion results should be followed up with a field review. Related units along with residents should open discussion and meet at proposed sites to be in sync.

"Sub-depts. must also firmly correct the proposals. If it is unimportant and overlapping, it must be crossed out. Because it will be useless if it is proposed in the next musrenbang," he told. 

In the meantime, Kramat Jati Urban Village Head, Husni Abdullah uttered pre-musrenbang is a continuation of the proposed RW meeting. Eventually there will be another musrenbang on February 2. The residents' proposals from 11 RW have 76 activity items, with an estimated budget by Rp 19,448,831,650.

"In last year's musrenbang, 144 activities were proposed yet only 28 of them were prioritized. Nevertheless the rest could be re-proposed in this year's musrenbang," he told.

City DPRD's Commission B Member, Syamsudin will encourage Kramat Jati residents' proposals to be proposed in musrenbang at province level.

"Before being ratified, the council will discuss those proposals first. I will escort it in accordance with the field in my commission," he uttered.
